Operations Business Development People Partner

We are the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. Position: Operations Business Development People Partner
Location: Flexible across England, Wales and Northern Ireland
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £43,316 actual per annum – National, £45,483 actual per annum – Fringe, £48,732 actual per annum – London

About the role:

Reporting to the POD Business Partner for Operations, you will work as People Partner to the Transformation, Commercial & Outreach and Safeguarding & Quality Teams, ensuring the people (both volunteers and employees) implications and requirements of business and commercial activities are planned for and acted upon. You will be the lead for supporting the development of strategic commercial and business improvements and initiatives across the whole of Operations from conception through to preparation for operational delivery.

Using your well-developed commercial awareness and understanding of the Health and Social Care environment, you will apply your excellent ability to develop strong relationships to challenge and influence effective business solutions, provide innovative and value adding people advice and contribute to the design and delivery of operational change.

With a positive, proactive and optimistic approach, you will have a proven track record of working as part of senior and multiple teams and working in partnership to deliver shared objectives.

Understanding of the diverse needs of people affected by dementia and awareness of the added value volunteers can bring to the delivery of an organisations mission will be of distinct advantage.
