LifeBook is looking for an Administration Assistant for their head office in Godalming, Surrey supporting all functions of the business. LifeBook is a global, private autobiography service helping people preserve their legacy for future generations.

Operating since 2012 in over 40 countries, we are a British company with big international expansion plans. The role will provide support to management and all functions of the business and assist with the overall growth of the company.

This role would appeal to a candidate seeking all round experience in an international publishing environment with a fun and dedicated team of professionals.

Personal Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work within a small but growing team as well as able to work on your own initiative
  • Excellent numeracy and computer literacy
  • An interest in publishing and an excellent command of written English
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Must have private means of transport to office and live within 20 miles
  • Key Tasks

  • Maintain office supplies
  • HR admin including new starter induction
  • Various IT tasks e.g. managing shared folders and online systems
  • Photo scanning and management
  • Ensure supply of interviewer equipment
  • Maintain company library
  • Mailing of material to authors
  • Job Type: 25hrs per week

    Working hours: Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 5.30 pm

    Salary: £17,000 – 18,500 per annum pro rata
