Home Instead are continuing to provide reward winning care to your loved ones and with more families needing help due to the pandemic, we are looking for kind, trustworthy and motivated individuals to join our amazing team of CAREGivers.
Our goal is to have the elderly live within their own homes for as long as possible, to promote independence and ensure that they can live their lives to the fullest. To be happy and comfortable within their own environment with their belongings and loving memories.
To visit your clients for 1-hour or longer at a time depending on their needs, to provide support with personal care which may include assistance with going to the bathroom or showering & prompting with medication, to take on domestic tasks within the home whether that be cooking a nutritious healthy meal or cleaning when necessary and of course companionship, looking after your clients mental health and wellbeing, ensuring they have someone to talk to and laugh with while enjoying a good cuppa.
At Home Instead we pride ourselves on our match up process. Caregivers are matched with clients based on consistency along with their hobbies, interests, and personality traits. We want you to be able to have the best relationship possible with your client and for you both to be excited when its time to visit.
You do not need any experience or qualifications to become a CAREGiver and we encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that is: retail, hospitality, travel, childcare, customer service, delivery driving etc. We provide FULL training and on-going support from the start.
You will be covering all area’s within East Dunbartonshire, so a driving licence is essential to be able to travel efficiently.
You will be personally introduced to new clients and all visits are recorded through our trusted APP which allows family members to see how their loved ones are doing.
