United Response is hiring Support Workers to join our core and cluster service in Illminster on a part time basis.
You would be part of a brilliant team of Support Workers who ensure that the people we support in the various properties in the cluster continue to have the opportunity to live their busy lives, doing what they love.
What does a Support Worker do?
Your role will be as varied as the lives of the people we support, as a Support Worker you will:
The people we support at this service are brilliantly active, there is always something going on whether it’s social events, paid or voluntary work and day trips so to be a successful Support Worker you should be someone who looks to encourage that activity.
We are looking for potential Support Workers who have good communication skills, a desire to help others and a friendly personality. In order to serve the needs of the people we support, applicants must hold a full drivers licence. If you can combine all these things will a team mentality and the willingness to learn you are good to go!
