Are you looking for your way to make a difference?
United Response is looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our busy supported living service in Batheaston as a Support Worker on a part time basis.
This is a fantastic service that supports two young gentlemen to live their busy, active lives as independently as possible. In part due to the fantastic person-centred approach of our Support Workers, the two people we support are able to live busy social lives that requires its own google calendar! The two young men also love baking so if you have a sweet tooth this will be great for you!
You’ll be glad to know that experience is by no means essential, we are more interested in finding people with the right values and a determination to positively impact the lives of others. If you can combine enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and the ability to work as a team you are good to go!
To ensure that the people we support can access the community in all the ways they want, you should hold a full drivers licence and access to your own vehicle.
The role of Support Worker is massively rewarding and varied but you can expect to:
Pay and benefits
On top of the opportunity to be part of a leading national disability charity and fantastic training opportunities, you will receive:
