We are looking for support workers to work in our day centres based in Godalming. You will be working with autistic adults and their families in a range of environments that support the service users' needs.
Our day services currently support around 60 individuals. They run from 9am-4:30pm and support autistic adults with a range of needs. The centres run sessions such as cookery, music and movement, gardening and arts and crafts as well as social skills and travel training. Outside the centre, the service supports its users by helping them access the community so they can participate in activities such as swimming, horse-riding, trips to the seaside and cycle rides. One of our day centres in particular focuses on helping the service user to take the next step, whether it be living independently, learning to drive or finding a job.
