Clarendon House is a small animal practice based in Galleywood Chelmsford with a second branch surgery situated in Heybridge, Maldon. At Clarendon House we have a commitment to continuous investment both in our surgeries and equipment, and in the training and further education of our staff. We are also an approved Training Centre for veterinary nurses.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our reception team. Our ideal candidate will be confident, polite and willing to go the extra mile for our clients and their pets. You must be able to deliver high standards of customer care at all times. This role is a Fixed Term role for a duration of 3 months.

The main duties of this role include;

To welcome our clients as they arrive.

To answer the telephone, including making appointments, dealing with any queries and taking messages accurately.

To keep reception and our practice clean and tidy.

To liaise with vets and nursing staff to provide a high standard of client and patient care.

Whilst previous customer service experience is advantageous a professional telephone manner and love of animals is essential.

You will be required to work predominantly at our Galleywood Practice and on occasion at our Heybridge Branch for 25 hours per week Monday to Friday with a share of weekend work. Therefore a driving licence would be advantageous.
