Policy Officer

The Trade Union and Public Affairs Team of the British Dietetic Association is looking for an enthusiastic Policy Officer to make sure that the interests of the dietetic professional are represented in Wales.

Policy Officer Responsibilities:

This role will involve influencing and working closely with other organisations, the Welsh Assembly Government and departments, and appropriate bodies on behalf of BDA.

The post holder will work closely with the Trade Union and Public Affairs Team and BDA staff, key members of the BDA and the BDA boards covering Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England.

Policy Officer Requirements:

The post holder will have excellent written and oral skills and will be using them to proactively work in the health and social care policy arena in both countries.

Job type: Part Time, Permanent, 1 day (7 hours and 12 minutes) per week

Salary: £32,770 to £36,129 per annum pro rata
