Programme Coordinator 

Position: Programme Coordinator 
Location: St. James’s Palace, London 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 
Salary: £23,000 to £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience 
Benefits: comprehensive benefits package, including a 15% employer contribution pension scheme (after 6 months), 33 days annual leave, including bank holiday.

About the role: 

The office of Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra consists of a small, flexible team responsible for the management of Princess Alexandra’s official programme in support of Her Majesty The Queen. 

You will provide wide ranging administrative and logistical support for Her Royal Highness’s programme of engagements. 

You will help plan, prepare and distribute weekly programmes, and all supporting documentation. 

Coordinating each engagement, you will liaise regularly with internal and external contacts to arrange travel logistics, schedules and briefs, helping to ensure all runs smoothly on the day. 

You will also provide secretarial support to the Private Secretary, drafting correspondence, court circulars and assisting with enquiries, expanding your skills in a truly varied role. 

About you: 

With relevant experience in a similar role you will be an excellent secretary / administrator, have good drafting skills and a keen eye for detail. 

Highly efficient and organised, you can prioritise a busy workload to meet multiple, and sometimes conflicting deadlines. 

With excellent IT skills and written and verbal communication, you will be confident liaising with a wide range of individuals and organisations. 

With a proactive and adaptable approach, you are able to work independently and exercise initiative. 

Having worked effectively within a busy office environment before you will enjoy working within a small and dedicated team.
