Project Worker

Luv2meetU is a friendship and dating agency for adults with learning disabilities operating predominantly in the North of England covering 9 different Local Authority areas. We support up to 300 members across all the areas. We have approximately 15 members of staff within Luv2meetU and related projects. We have received Foundational Economy Challenge Fund monies from the Welsh Government to develop Luv2meetU in the Wrexham and Denbighshire area.

Hours are flexible and will include evening and weekend work based on the needs of the project.

Salary: £17,968 per annum

Job Type: Fixed-term till March 2021 - Possibility of the funding being extended beyond this.

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Location: Hot desk at Hft offices, Hub Cyfle, Queensferry, Flintshire, CH5 1SA and working from home and out in the community

Experience of working with vulnerable people including adults with learning disabilities together with an understanding of the needs, experiences and aspirations of people with learning disabilities would be advantageous.

Fluent in Welsh is essential.
