Quality Assurance Assistant (Part Time, Fixed Term)

The Department of Oncology is seeking to appoint a part-time (22 hours per week) Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant to join the Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre (CCTC), located at Addenbrooke's Hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

The post holder will work as part of an experienced and dynamic QA team to maintain legal and regulatory compliance of cancer research, in both clinical and laboratory settings. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a robust quality assurance system and document management system, conduct and report back on an independent audit programme, and provide training to other members of staff within the CCTC and associated facilities.

Applicants should have a degree (or equivalent) in a Life Science related subject area, the ability to communicate complex issues effectively, and experience of document management and control. Previous experience of GCP, GCLP and EU Clinical Trials Regulations, or Quality Assurance qualification/training is desirable.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2022 in the first instance.
