The opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for a Quality, Health and Safety Assistant to join the UK Engineering Inspection Compliance team on a secondment basis. As part of the role you will be responsible for timely and accurate administration of a range of compliance tasks, which includes, training, quality and health and safety.

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is able to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team. As a member of the team you will play a vital part in helping the department to achieve its regulatory objectives to ensure Engineering Inspection remains compliant.

Key activities:

Examples of potential activities that you may be asked to support are:

  • Supporting Engineering Compliance Manager
  • For ensuring that the processes required for the QMS to be effective, are established, implemented, maintained and continuously improved.
  • For providing quality assurance and Health & Safety advice and promoting awareness of customer requirements throughout the company.
  • Coordinating Health & Safety issues.
  • Recording employee incidents
  • Your skills and experience:

  • IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate (an advantage)
  • Microsoft office experience essential;
  • Excellent time and task management skills;
  • Makes decisions in line with responsibility and accountability;
  • Excellent problem solving skills;
  • Quality management experience (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 (an advantage)
  • The Reward:

    The salary offered for this role is in the region of £25,000 depending on experience. As well as this we offer an 35 hour working week
