An experienced Resource Planner is required on a part time basis by this major Professional Services Organisation to work alongside its Head of Resource in order to ensure that all of its Consultants based onshore and offshore are fully utilised on client engagements across the client base in the UK.
In order to secure this Resource Planner role candidates will need to have previous experience of working in a Resource Planning or Programme Coordinators role and have a good understanding of Headcount and forward Programme Resource Planning. Ideally the successful candidates will be highly skilled in the use of Excel and a workforce planning tool to track, monitor and report on the utilisation of large numbers of consultants working on client engagements. You will also need to demonstrate a keen eye for details and be able to manage, track and manipulate large volumes of data and provide high quality Management Information reports for Senior Management. As such you will be able to demonstrate excellent personal effectiveness to deal with conflicts, express your own ideas persuasively and creatively, obtain buy-in and influence decisions outcomes while managing the expectations of the business.
In this role you will play a key role in managing the resource planning process around shortfalls - understand where the clashes are and how they can be resolved; challenge the requirements - staffing, timing etc. Proactively look for solutions by moving bookings around but still achieving appropriate level of support for our clients.
