Role Overview:

We are working with a family run hotel in Brixham with a team of around 30 staff, many having trained and developed hotel over the years. They are located right in the heart of Brixham, overlooking the harbour and the sea. The hotel has been run by the same family for over twenty years. This gives the hotel a unique charm and character which cannot be found in chain hotels today. The hotel is looking to recruit a well-rounded Restaurant Supervisor to work alongside the team to continue its success in maintaining its rosette.  As a Restaurant Supervisor you will work up to 40 hours per week, working 5/7 days on a split shift pattern.

Your main responsibilities will include:

•             Assist and deputise for the restaurant manager

•             Run shifts and be customer focused at all times

•             Supervise and train staff to deliver the correct standards

•             Deal with customer queries and complaints


What you need to get the job:

•             Experience at supervisory level in a quality restaurant environment

•             Excellent knowledge of food and wine

•             A dedicated and passionate team player

•             Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•             Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress


The Reward:
