Position Summary

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Senior Brand Manager for NESCAFE AZERA to join our NESCAFE Marketing Department based at our Head Office in Gatwick. This position will play a key role in driving our NESCAFE Market Share by building and growing the NESCAFE Azera range of products across Soluble, Ready to Drink and Roast & Ground coffee. This role will be reporting directly into the NESCAFE Marketing Director, be part of the NESCAFE Marketing Leadership Team and lead a team of 2 direct reports.

A day in the life of a Senior Brand Manager

As a Senior Brand Manager at Nestlé, it is not just about being an ambassador for globally recognised, well-loved brands; it is an opportunity to become part of a large passionate team with an inimitable track record. Marketing at Nestlé gives you experience of the full mix of disciplines, from generating brand strategy to executing annual plans, leading exciting innovation and renovation initiatives, and creating engaging consumer communications. You’ll be working daily with cross-functional teams to make your plans come to life. In this particular role, you will be looking after our exciting NESCAFE AZERA brand, leading our Soluble, Roast & Ground and Ready to Drink coffee portfolio.

 

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

 

• Brand Strategy: Work closely with the Marketing Director to strengthen NESCAFE AZERAstrategy, positioning and visual identity.
• Brand Activation: Lead the Annual Brand Plans and being fully responsible for brand’s P&L.
• Communication Development: Responsible for delivering 360 communication campaigns that will cut through the clutter and deliver our brand strategy and commercial objectives.
• Media: Develop impactful media plans by utilising relevant media touchpoints for our target audience in the most efficient way.
• I&R: Work closely with our Marketing I&R department to develop ground breaking innovations for NESCAFE AZERA that will strengthen the brand’s positioning, create competitive gaps and ultimately grow the brand in a sustainable way.
• People management: Coaching & developing a team of a Brand Manager, an Assistant Brand Manager and a Commercial Finance Assistant.
• Collaboration: Working with various internal and external stakeholders you will be able to influence with integrity and inspire the organisation towards the brand vision.

What will make you successful

To be successful in this role you need to have some fantastic marketing experience under your belt with a proven track-record in building superb communication campaigns and delivering commercial & financial targets. You will be able to combine art & science, being creative and analytical, depending on the situation and the business needs.  You will be putting the consumer at the centre of every decision you make and have curiosity to discover deep insights that will transform the brand and unleash it’s full growth potential. As a leader you should be able to energise & engage wider teams and build trusted relationships with your main stakeholder across different levels in the organisation. Being passionate, tenacious and results focused whilst acting as an ambassador of the brand to the whole division. 

You’ll also:


• Have great brand management experience and currently be operating at a Senior Brand Manager level, ideally within FMCG.
• Have a proven record of creating engaging brand experiences across all major touchpoints like TV, digital, OOH and experiential marketing
• Be comfortable to run sizable projects and work streams from concept to delivery.
• Be able to demonstrate your experience of leading major new product launches.
• Demonstrate a pragmatic approach with the ability to operate and execute at pace.
• Be a great coach and inspiring leader in everything you do.
