About the role:

As the Senior Case Manager, you will line manage a team of custodial Case Managers across the South East CFO3 contract area ( HMP Rochester, HMP Swaleside, HMP Elmley, HMP Standford Hill, HMP Ford) overseeing all participant support interventions. Monitoring, managing and reporting on individual and site performance targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, working closely with the Head of Service Delivery & Development to identify performance improvement actions and best practice at individual and site level. Monitoring data flow, information sharing protocols and accurate recording of referrals and cohort data.

You will ensure Case Managers adopt a multi-agency approach, working with a range of statutory and non-statutory partners including Community Rehabilitation Companies, National Probation Service, Youth Offending Services, and voluntary agencies, Managing a small caseload and providing cover in the event of Staff absence.

About you:

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable capacity to coordinate a broad service, as well as experience and understanding of working with prisoners in a challenging multi-agency environment on a highly targeted payment by results contract. Knowledge of the criminal justice system and an awareness of the impact of custody on prisoners.

You will have demonstrable experience of managing people along with experience of managing service and delivering against contract requirements. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload. You will have the ability to contribute to the planning and development of Pact’s work and also know safeguarding/child protection practice.

Furthermore you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in partnerships with a range of agencies.
