About the role:

We are currently looking for a Senior Personal Assistant to join our Practice Co-ordination Team in our Cologne office. Reporting directly to the Team Lead, the Personal Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive support to our Cologne and Berlin senior teams and consulting staff.


• Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentation materials – reviewing; proof-reading (English to German and vice versa) and formatting miscellaneous reports and documents; printing, binding and making courier arrangements;
• Extensive diary and travel management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives and assistants, as well as consultants, to coordinate a variety of complex meetings and events;
• Liaising and corresponding with clients by phone and in writing, representing the company’s image and reputation;
• Frequent interaction with our London based main functions, such as Finance and Facilities, and the wider Practice Co-ordination Team across our offices;
• Project invoicing and preparing and submitting travel & credit card expenses, as well as organising and maintaining a filing systems of receipts for client invoicing purposes travel expenses;
• General office support ranging from switchboard, reception/visitor management, couriers, mail, office supplies and facilities.

About you:

• Solid previous secretarial experience in a professional services company;
• Well organised, proactive, flexible and must enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a diverse office environment;
• Able to work independently and make decisions with little supervision, but also work as part of a large team;
• Ability to ‘think outside of the box’ and go beyond their role in support of broader business needs;
• Able to adapt communication style to suit different audiences and put forward ideas in a clear and constructive manner;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment;
• Native German speaker;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English and strong MS Office skills;
• Confident in sharing experience and ideas with the wider Practice Co-ordination Team
