Full Time School Caretaker -  (39 hours per week split shift with 24 days paid leave per annum)  Salary £19,565.36

Part Time School Caretaker -  (20 hours per week mornings or afternoons on a rota basis with 24 days paid leave per annum)  Salary £10,033.52

Queen Elizabeth’s is a friendly school community with high expectations. We are looking to appoint a full-time School Caretaker to join our friendly school community. The successful candidate will be expected to work 39 hours per week split shifts; the school may consider a job share. We are also looking for a part time School Caretaker working 4 hours per day which could be mornings or afternoons on a rota basis, so flexibility of working hours are required.

Ideally, the person (or persons) appointed will:

  • have excellent organisational skills
  • relate well to all stakeholders e.g. pupils, staff, parents, contractors
  • have line management responsibilities for a team of cleaners
  • be willing and able to carry out minor repairs and decoration
  • be flexible, reliable and trustworthy
  • have good problem-solving skills
  • live local to the school
