Summary

We are currently looking to recruit G4 Solution Architects in London, Bristol, Wakefield, Leicester, Warrington or Birmingham.

Enterprise Design Authority Technology is based within Digital Data & Technology (DDaT).

We work across the agency to build a mechanism for achieving the alignment of enterprise and solution, technology architectures to the NCA’s strategic direction.

Job description

To be successful in this role you will have experience in taking business requirements through to an assured solution design. You will possess a broad architecture background combined with areas of knowledge on technologies and practices, a good understanding architecture domains and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and design assurance support to the Tier1 hybrid hosting (on premises and Cloud)
• Design and design assurance support of the capabilities under Tier 1 End User Compute
• Design and design assurance support to other key projects within the NCA’s Improve and Transform delivery programme
• Support the development of EDA technical strategies, standards and reference architectures

Technical skills

We'll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process:

  • A sound knowledge of architecture methodologies and frameworks and extensive experience of their application
  • Broad & up-to-date knowledge of IT capabilities & services including cloud computing, end user computing, on-premise hosting, identity and access management, virtualisation, application development & management, device management, mobility solutions.
  • Experience of technical design and formal review of technical solutions.
  • Experience of developing design artefacts under a number of architecture frameworks e.g. MODAF, DODAF, TOGAF.
