About the job
The successful candidate will act as the single interface for customers and suppliers, understand the supplier obligations and deliverables and provide input to escalations of issues and represent the customer views at the Supplier Management Boards. In addition this role will involve building relationships with relevant Supplier Service owners and across Suppliers, the business customers and Partner Organisations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of current development of Service Management in the application of Information Systems and assimilate and interpret advice from specialists, have experience of analysing information from a range of sources and be thoroughly familiar with services and products delivered and the tools, methods, procedures, equipment and software using in the operation management of the Service. Candidates must also have a ITIL Service Management or Applications Manager Certificate and/or equivalent practical experience and an understanding of Supplier Management and its benefits.
