The Logistics Department is a key function within Marketforce providing operational support to ensure that all publications reach the newsstand on time and to support product levels across the supply chain.
The Supply Chain Operations Assistant operates the Marketforce switchboard to handle enquiries from internal and external customers and helps maintain product information within Marketforce systems to support warehouse replenishment and stock management processes.
The successful candidates will also be responsible for communicating product information and order deadlines to agents and customers, maintaining publishing client/agent orders and special requests. You will also monitor product barcode and price information to ensure these conform to agreed standards.
You will have:
- Experience working in customer service
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good time management skills
- A passion for problem solving
- The ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
