Due to changed staffing requirements, we have a number of shifts available, 40 hours full or part-time guaranteed hours on nine month fixed term contracts, or occasional hours if you prefer working with flexibility.
Night shifts at The Grove start at 9pm and finish at 7am and operate on a seven day rota.
All candidates applying for part time (20 hours per week) or full time (either 30 or 40 hours per week) guaranteed hour roles will be expected to work some weekends.
These roles will initially be on nine month fixed term contracts, with the possibility of extension.
You will need access to your own transport as The Grove is not accessible by public transport at the times that you will be required to work.
As a Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant with Leonard Cheshire you’ll provide a high level of care and support to vulnerable people, enabling them to live the life they choose. You’ll assist with daily tasks including personal care, medication and assistance at mealtimes, motivating and encouraging choice and participation.
Experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant is desirable but not essential as we offer an excellent training and induction programme to get you fully trained in your new role!
