Position: Support Worker
Location: Epsom, Surrey
Job type: Full Time, Permanent (Flexible working considered)
Hours: Various shifts
Salary: £17,000 to £18,020 FTE (£9.05 - £9.60 per hour) (Inc. London weighting)

Could you be our next Support Worker helping people with sight loss and complex needs to live more independently, like Cameron?
In Epsom, Ashtead and Leatherhead we're looking for caring individuals who want to make a real difference, whilst enjoying a work life that offers variety each day. We have got a range of opportunities with fixed hours to suit you.
You'll play a key role in enabling our residents to live as independently as possible and engage in activities that are so often taken for granted.
It really is a career like no other! No working day is the same, but you could be helping residents to achieve positive outcomes:
- Develop everyday living skills, cooking meals, cleaning, shopping and travelling.
- Learn money skills.
- Use gadgets such as talking microwaves, liquid level indicators, and banknote detectors.
- Take part in social, leisure, learning, and work-based opportunities.
If you want to make a difference, are fun to be with, patient and able to work in a calm manner under pressure as well as sociable, caring and supportive then we want to hear from you.
You will work varied shifts on a rota basis (including the occasional sleep in) for at least 18 hours a week, as part of a team to provide excellent person-centred support to our residents and their families.
Experience of working in a social care or residential environment is desirable but not essential as we'll provide you with full training. After a thorough induction, you'll shadow an experienced Support Worker, enjoy ongoing training and gain a recognised Care Certificate and optional Health & Social Care Diploma.
