Support Worker

Dementia devastates lives. By 2021, 1 million people will be living with the condition. But dementia won't win. Until the day we find a cure, Alzheimer's Society will be here for anyone affected by dementia - wherever they are, whatever they're going through. Everything we do is informed and inspired by them.

Support Worker Responsibilities:

We are looking for an exceptional, well-motivated individual to join our Walhtam Forst Dementia Support Service team. If you have an understanding of working with people affected by dementia and their needs, please get in touch with us. The post is based in Leyton and is close to local transport and amenities. You will provide a responsive and individualised information, signposting and referral service to people with a diagnosis of dementia and those that care for them. This could be in the client's own home, at our office or other locations, face to face, by phone, letter or email.
