Your working week is completed over 3 days (12-hour shifts) leaving you 4 days to do as you please!

Salary: £18,720 per annum
Support Worker – Female Only

I am a women in my 50’s and currently a patient within a hospital and have been for most of my adult life however I am due to transition into my own home and back into the community in November 2020. My dream is to get better, stay better and not become a patient within a hospital again. I have a diagnosis of Bipolar Affective Disorder and COPD. I have two children who are now both adults.

I need you to be;

I require you to have an understanding supporting people with Bipolar, substance misuse and emotionally unstable personality disorder. I require you to have experience working with and understanding the Positive Behavioural Support Model and use proactive strategies to effectively support me in staying safe and making the most of my opportunities within the community. When I am in a low state, I can put myself in vulnerable situation and display behaviours perceived as challenging. I am anxious about leaving the hospital and going into the community therefore I need staff who will be patient with me and help support me with all the changes I will face.
