Your working week is completed over 3 days (12-hour shifts) leaving you 4 days to do as you please!
Salary: up to £18,720 per annum
I am a women who is in my 40’s about to begin living in my own home and I am looking for support workers who can help me stay safe at home and work toward my goals. I will have one staff member with me during the day, and one staff member awake during the night. I am currently in a residential support setting, and I am ready to live in the community with a team of staff who can help me learn new skills. I am very sociable and will love your company as someone who can support me with my hobbies.
Support Worker Requirements:
I require you to have a good understanding of mental illness and the impact that trauma can have on an individual). I require you to have experience working with and understanding the Positive Behavioural Support Model and be able to use proactive strategies to effectively support me in staying safe and making the most of my opportunities within the community. I need you to be patient and non-judgemental whilst providing me with support and motivation to partake in activities within the community. I need you to be patient as it will take time for me to learn to trust you, and even if you don’t share my interests I need you to accept that I like them and support me to participate in them.
