Team Leader - Kitchen (30 hours)

Kitchen Team Leader – ***Shrewsbury Tow Centre Premier Inn, 30 hours.***

Are you ready to take the next step?

Join the kitchens powering the most loved hotel brand in the UK and play your part in delighting our guests – every single time they enjoy a stay with us.

We’re proud of the dining experiences that make our Premier Inn hotels a home from home, and, as Kitchen Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for serving up our mouth-watering meals and legendary breakfasts we’re known for.

We need you to maintain our high standards, lead an engaged team and work alongside the hotel’s management to create a restaurant our guests will love as part of their stay.

Mixed together with the best training and development programs in hospitality to help you progress and a premier selection of benefits for you to enjoy, could you be our next Kitchen Team Leader?

Who you are?

If you revel in being the ‘go to’ person on a shift, getting hands-on in the kitchen, trusted with making our famous dishes and coaching the team who will deliver them, we want to hear from you.

If you’re looking to progress in your career, tell us about your knowledge of Health & Safety in the kitchen and show us your effective communication skills for running a busy service.

Give us examples of any team management experience you’ve had. Perhaps you’ve handled the heat in the kitchen before, and successfully resolved problems in our demanding, but enjoyable industry. We love your passion, but we want it matched with a steely determination to ensure financial control of stock and compliance requirements in the kitchen.

Bring these to the table and we’ve got the challenge you’ve been looking for.

What is a Kitchen Team Leader?

Your natural ability to lead is what shines through – that calming presence showing the team firsthand exactly how a high performing kitchen works. Operating alongside the Deputy Hotel Manager, you’ll deliver both a great guest and employee experience.

We strive for perfection and have a proud history of achieving it. So, you will be responsible for Breakfast and Dinner quality and service scores, Food Stock management and stock control and setting the team up for success throughout the week through effective briefings.

As the Kitchen Team Leader, you will ensure that all the team adhere to the Company procedures, training and compliance checks and makes sure that the food we serve continues to delight our guests.
