Technical Delivery Manager

We have two permanent opportunities, to join our Transformation Department. You will be working closely with local authorities, ensuring the smooth migration of the Local Land Charges service from a technical perspective.

You will advise local authorities in the extraction of Local Land Charges data and integration options for their business as usual requirements. You will build relationships with trade associations, representative bodies and customers, delivering improvements and establishing best practice amongst local authorities and other originating authorities. You will gather insight from customers to develop the LLC Programmes technical understanding of their needs and design and deliver effective social media activity to support go to market activities, campaigns and events.

Technical Delivery Manager Responsibilities:

- Work in, or closely with a local authority with a sound understanding of Planning or Local Land Charges policy and legislation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, at a strategic and operational level.
- Experience of solving complex customer problems, in a professional manner.
- Able to work in a fast-changing environment and deliver effective results at pace.
- Assimilate complex information and translate to make evidence-based decisions.
- Chairing meetings and presenting to external audiences.
- Facilitate difficult discussions between stakeholders with differing views and overcome objections.

Technical Delivery Manager Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will have had experience of working in, or closely with a local authority and a sound understanding of Planning or Local Land Charges policy and legislation, be able to solve complex problems and provide solutions to customers, whilst building working relations both internally and externally. You will have excellent time management skills and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner, having had exposure to delivering presentations and attending events.

You will be required to travel extensively across England and Wales to HMLR's offices and local authorities, including regular overnight stays, often at short notice. It is likely that you will be required to work away from your home office, for at least three days per week with frequent attendance at our Croydon, Nottingham and Plymouth offices.
