Technical Support Analyst - Overnight

PA Media Group update live betting markets for Horse and Greyhound racing for every meeting in the UK, Ireland, South Africa and USA and selected meetings from across the world. We have been at the heart of the Racing and Betting industry providing content to the market for over 60 years and our business is thriving with 60% growth in the last 4 years.

A new opportunity has become available within the Racing & Betting team in our Howden office to join our Technical Support Team on a part-time basis working 3 nights 2200-0600. This role will allow the successful candidate to influence which nights they would prefer to work to help to support a healthy work-life balance.

What you will do ...

As an essential member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to liaise with our customers such as Bet365, Skybet and At The Races, being the first point of contact and giving real-time responses.

You'll be monitoring live horse racing services from around the globe as well as various critical IT systems, using bespoke software for identifying issues and escalating live incidents.

We'll make sure you are trained and supported to be able to work independently to diagnose issues and ensure our customers continue to get the service that makes us the market leader.

No two days are the same here, and both as a collective and individually we strive to learn and adapt our skills and strategy to ensure our customers and suppliers are fully satisfied. You will be required to work 3 back to back nights each week, from 10pm until 6am (we can be flexible on which days and they are not currently set each week)

Full training will be provided – all that we ask is that you’re willing to learn and motivated to provide a quality, professional and efficient service for our customers and suppliers.

What will you need ...
Previous experience in a business to business customer service role is essential. You don't need pervious racing and betting experience but an interest in racing and/or sports would definitely be beneficial.

You'll need to be a great communicator (written and verbal), have a keen eye for detail and be flexible and reliable.

Due to the nature of the industry and the hours you must be over 18 and you must be willing to work nights.
