We have a team of 6 vets, 4 qualified RVN’s (registered veterinary nurses), 2 trainee nursing students, 8 reception staff and a practice manager. We strive to provide the most up to date, gold standard treatment for your pet, whilst still maintaining traditional values of veterinary practice at a realistic price. As the Receptionist you will assist in the day to day running of the veterinary practice. In this role you will be welcoming arrivals, handling queries, booking appointments, dealing with cancellations as well as other general receptionist duties.
You must be resourceful, perceptive and proactive. The right candidate will be efficient, an extremely good communicator and will not be overwhelmed by a busy and demanding reception desk.
We are looking for someone with the confidence, empathy and experience to provide the high standards of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients.
Ideally you will have previous receptionist experience gained from working at a veterinary practice along with exceptional communication skills. You will also have a proven background within customer services and a genuine care of animals.
The role will mainly be based at Kilmarnock, but occasionally working at Stewarton. We also require someone to work 25 hours a week with 1:5 weekends
