Position: Volunteer Co-ordinator
Location: Chiltern House, Gerrards Cross (commutable from Uxbridge, Slough, Maidenhead and surrounding areas)
Job type: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £11.87 per hour / £9,902 for 16 hours (£23,210 per annum FTE 37.5 hours)

About the role:
As a Volunteer Co-ordinator with Leonard Cheshire you will work with managers to recruit, retain and supervise volunteers to support our residents. You will identify activities to be supported by volunteers both in and outside of the care home and give presentations to local organisations raising awareness of Leonard Cheshire. You will also monitor overall volunteer performance against key objectives, coach and mentor volunteers with effective induction and training.
- Have experience of volunteer recruitment and selection procedures.
- Demonstrable experience of researching, planning and organising volunteering activity.
- Have experience of working with customers who have disabilities.
- Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, (including occasional weekends and evenings).
- Be able to travel locally.
