Position: Volunteer Co-ordinator Level 3 
Location: Home based covering Gloucestershire 
Job type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: 28 hours per week 
Salary: £11.87 / £17,330 for 28 hours (£23,210 FTE for 37.5 hours)

About the role: 

It’s amazing what can be achieved when people work together! We rely on volunteers to help us support people to live, learn and work as independently as they choose, whatever their ability. We are looking for someone to bring an organised, enabling and diverse approach to our volunteering programme in Gloucestershire, supporting our Can Do programme, digital inclusion programmes, Wheels for All and Gloucestershire House. Gloucestershire House is a purpose-built building for 36 adults with physical disabilities, with an active volunteering programme supporting our customers. You will also be responsible for managing our European funded overseas volunteer programme at Gloucestershire House, where volunteers join us and volunteer for a year, and will be required to spend one day per week managing this programme at Gloucestershire House. 

About you: 

You will be experienced in managing volunteers and will work directly with our customers and colleagues in actively recruiting volunteers specific to their needs. You will be responsible for invigorating volunteering at a local level, developing community engagement and supervising and supporting volunteers in their roles. You must be able to travel locally, have good communication and presentation skills and be computer literate. Flexibility including occasional weekend and evening work will be required.
