This incredibly welcoming and supportive Primary school are seeking a new Year 3 teacher to join their team in February. The school have recently appointed a new Headteacher who has a wealth of experience and a superb record.
The Headteacher likes to provide the staff with all the resources and training they require and has an open door policy to assist every member of staff. Recently they have brought in a new behaviour policy which has already had a hugely positive effect and all staff and pupils are buying into it.
The school is situated in the middle of a strong community base and it encourages all families to be as active and involved as possible. The school most recently received 'Good' in their last Ofsted and are now looking to move forward and are aiming for 'Outstanding'.
This school likes to incorperate peer learning and also like their pupils to enjoy a varied learning experience, with cross-curricular lessons and ICT being used throughout.
The ideal teacher will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated Year 3 Teacher who is able to independently and alongside the other Year 3 teacher to plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement. They have to be well versed with the Year 3 National Curriculum and have the passion and desire to push their pupils in every academic aspect.
The right teacher needs to have strong behaviour management and be able to effectively implement the new behaviour policy. The school like a firm but fair approach to their classroom management and always encourages positive praise and award systems.
In every class in the school, the teacher has a minimum of 1 support staff, alongside floating Learning Mentors. The ideal teacher will have to work closely with their support staff and ensure that they are being used successfully throughout their lessons to provide the pupils with constructive assistance.
NQTs, Experienced Teachers either UK or overseas trained teachers able to apply. Must have experience teaching in the UK and have a clear understanding of the National Curriculum
