Job Description

We are looking for a 3rd Party Supply Lead who will manage and lead the ISC team in 3rd party to ensure supply to the business, at the right time and right cost; a proactive and passionate individual who has good communication skills and attention to detail.

 

Our supply chain really is at the heart of our entire business, working with Nestlé and third-party Suppliers such as GXO and IPS, the success of the business relies on its ability to effectively manage our hugely complex operation. This role can be based at any of our UK sites; ideally York or Gatwick as you will be expected to travel to these locations regularly.

A day in the life of...

 

You will be responsible for the Line Management and leading the team for 3rd Party Inbound Supply Coordinators (ISC’s) fulfilling the requirements of the production plans by supporting our ISC's, leading and delivering inbound projects and winning through best in class aligned processes, measures and reviews.

 

Key responsibilities include-

 

•    The effective management of a team of 4 ISC’s, and execution of the annual people process. 
•    Enable an optimised replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18month horizon to ensure supply of material to production by supporting ISC processes and actioning any escalation.
•    Monitor top line supplier performance through VES ensuring with the ISC's that plans are developed, and improvements are carried out. 
•    Work with suppliers and procurement business support and the supply stream to identify and exploit improvement opportunities to drive TDC, service improvements or working capital reductions. 
•    Review ways of working and drive standardisation and best practice across all co-pack operations. 
 

What will make you successful

 

To be successful we would expect:

 
•    Previous experience in Supply Chain, preferably with knowledge of inbound supply processes. 
•    Ideally had experience managing a small team or exposure to line management activities.
•    Open to ambiguity and change, allowing for pragmatic and agile solutions in a new environment.
•    Excellent teamwork and virtual collaboration accompanied by a self-motivated passion for success.
•    A proactive individual with the ability to self-manage and a strong problem-solving mindset.
•    Effective influencer and communicator across all levels of the business, with a drive to improve existing processes.
•    Intermediate understanding of software applications e.g. Microsoft Excel, SAP etc.
