Job Description


This postholder will be a member of the EMEA finance team and will be working with the preparation of regular and ad-hoc business reporting as well as participate in developing and improving reporting processes. They will also be involved in preparing the annual operating plan and other projects that may occur. They will work closely with the other European Finance team members, the regional Finance teams (20 subsidiaries), as well as the head office in the US and other departments of the EMEA Organisation.


  • Preparation of various periodic (weekly/monthly/quarterly) internal reporting in Power BI, prepare the underlying data, issue reports and answer related questions.
  • Preparation of monthly KPI’s for Europe and subregions.
  • Working on the improvement of existing reporting procedures and converting existing Excel based reporting to Power BI.
  • Participation in development to meet new reporting requirements
  • Working on refinement of existing forecasting tools/models.
  • Supporting the Pricing function with reporting and analytics?
  • Participation in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) preparation.
  • Participation in various projects as applicable.
  • Being a centre of excellence when it comes to using analytical tools such as BW, Excel and Power BI. Assist/Support other finance team members in using these tools.

Knowledge, Education and Experience

  • A qualified accountant or relevant degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Expert knowledge in Office 365, including Excel, business warehouse and Power BI and a proven track record of applying these tools in a business context.
  • SAP experience would be useful.
  • Good business process understanding/knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and additional European language would be beneficial.
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a commercial environment preferably in the Life sciences industry.

Location & Travel:

This position can be based in any of the following locations where we currently have EMEA finance team members: Frankfurt (Germany) or Stockholm (Sweden),Paris (France), Manchester (UK),. The person may be required to travel internationally occasionally.
