About the role

As a Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity at Learning Tree, you will be at the forefront of selling cutting-edge cybersecurity courses. Your mission will be to identify, target, and secure new business opportunities, expanding Learning Tree’s market share in the Cybersecurity Practice Area. You'll leverage creative prospecting, networking, and strategic engagement with senior client stakeholders to showcase the value of our high-quality Cybersecurity training programs. This role offers the chance to build a new business line and work with some of the largest global corporations and government agencies.

About You

You’ll be a resilient and persistent professional with significant experience in consultative sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry. You will have a proven track record of exceeding targets in new business development and have a strategic mindset with strong negotiation and communication skills. Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies and concepts is a plus so you can act as the subject matter champion. Adept at engaging senior client stakeholders, presenting and facilitating client meetings, you’ll have an appetite for impactful and creative prospecting. You’ll be a professional communicator and be able to use CRM and pipeline software effectively.

The Package

Base salary for the Business Development Manager role is £50,000 to £60,000. With your uncapped commission, you’ll be able to double your base by year 2 in post.
