PRODUCTION OPERATIVE

Manpower Logistics are recruiting Cable Assembly Operatives for our client based in Stoke-on-Trent working within their busy electrical manufacturing department.

Skills & Experience

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Do you have a keen eye for detail and ability to concentrate for periods of time.
  • This is a role where you need to be able to work with small components, so you need to have a good level of dexterity
  • Previous experience of working within an electrical/electronics manufacturing environment is highly preferred but not essential, we can teach you all you need to know

Main responsibilities

  • Cable assembly :-
    • Wire soldering, crimping and terminating
    • Electromechanical box build assembly
  • Diagnosing faults and rectification
  • Testing completed build to meet customer specific requirements
  • Working to specific deadlines

Training required

  • On the job training will be provided, which may involve travelling to another site, in Gloucester - all expenses paid for 4 to 5 weeks, there will be a weekly enhancement payment to boot!

Shift Details

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:50 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 12:10 pm.

This can also be flexible to work Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 3:50 pm, Friday 7:00 am - 11:10 pm.

Total 37.5 hours per week.
