Change & Implementation Manager
Location - Birmingham/Remote
Daily rate - £360/day PAYE £461/day Umbrella
Start date - ASAP
Contract - 6 Months

Our financial services client is currently seeking a Change & Implementation Manager to join their team as part of natural growth within the department. Project Leads are involved at all stages of the project lifecycle, from change initiation, design and delivery, through to benefits realisation and will support more senior project managers. They may be located in BAU teams as well as Project teams. Project Leads may have direct reports and may be supported by Business Analysts, Programme Management Office (PMO) staff or admin support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes
  • Managing delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, communications, budget and risks
  • Defining resource needs, responsibilities and schedules
  • Working within project controls and procedures
  • Working within established quality assurance processes
  • Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Reporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
  • Providing guidance and maintaining a focus on how the project aligns to wider programme objectives
  • Adhering to the client's project methodology at all times

Key Requirements:

  • Desirable to have one of more project management qualifications e.g. Prince2, APMP, Agile, MoP
  • Desirable to have knowledge of the client's Business Transformation Framework (BTF2)
  • Good level of banking and business knowledge and / or experience
  • Proven track record in project and change delivery
  • Knowledge of the marketplace, competition and regulatory environments
  • Ability to gather, analyse and interpret comprehensive information and/or customer requirements in order to provide solutions that are commercially viable and sustainable
  • Interpersonal skills, with a track record of influencing and driving strategy in a matrix-management environment
  • Support business with change acceptance plans
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Anticipates and identifies risks and ensures appropriate steps are taken to mitigate and manage them
  • Influencing skills and ability to builds positive working relationships with our customers, colleagues and stakeholder
  • Demonstration of the client's UK principles of treating customers fairly
  • Ability to influence and drive financial cost and benefit performance from projects and programmes

* Planning and organisational skills in order to manage the unexpected as well as anticipated issues or events, so that success can still be achieved
* Effective adoption of governance and control processes

  • Ability to create and deliver effective change roadmaps
