Content Manager

Brand and Content is a newly formed team, sitting across the Underwriting and Schemes division of PIB Group. There are more than15 brands within the division, covering a variety of insurance products from Pet and Motor to Childcare and Healthcare. The group is proud of the heritage of its businesses, with hundreds of years of collective experience in serving customers and leading the way for the industries they serve.


You will own the content creation across our B2C, B2B and B2B2C brands, leading a team of content experts to create a variety of content that drives long term customer and commercial growth. You will own the overall content strategy creating compelling insight driven content, integrate this into the broader digital, campaign and CX activity and support a multichannel/integrated campaign management strategy.


  • Responsible for creating a multichannel content strategy that facilitates engagement across the sales pipeline and customer lifecycle
  • Develop and create insight led content with a vision for content that always provides value to its intended audience
  • Drive demand through content across social media, SEO and our brand websites
  • Develop content in line with our brand and distribution strategies including digital, video, influencers, podcast etc
  • Coordinate a team of creatives and content designers, and ensure end to end delivery of high-quality interactive content
  • Development of a lean content development process building insight, ideation, design, development, delivery and publishing into a sprints and releases in line with campaign activity
  • Measure and analyse content performance ensuring that content is effective and valuable to customers
  • Work with the insights team to develop a insights development approach to drive content development


  • 7 Years+ Content Marketing experience, preferably across multiple brands and distribution strategies
  • Experience specialising in content creation across the full range of marketing channels including social media, SEO, Affinity
  • Significant experience developing a variety of different content including video, written, influencer, podcast
  • Experience of building and scaling a content production infrastructure
  • Team Leadership Experience
  • Experience of working in the insurance sector.
  • Working across multiple brands and distribution strategies.
  • Experience in developing content in niche markets a bonus
  • Experience developing content for European markets a bonus
  • Knowledge of insurance, financial or professional services sector
  • Strong understanding of building compelling, insight driven content
  • Good understanding of marketing technology relevant to content management
  • Passion for innovation, pushing for new things rather than relying on the tried and tested.
  • Great communicator with experience working with stakeholders
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office Suite
