Find Your Flex is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of one of the world's leading live entertainment and venue operators for a newly created Director of Programming role.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced programming leader to take ownership of programming strategy across a growing portfolio of UK venues, helping to define what audiences experience and how some of the UK's most exciting venues continue to evolve.

Working closely with senior leadership, venue General Managers and industry stakeholders, you will drive both the commercial and creative direction of the venue portfolio, ensuring a balanced programme of events that delivers exceptional audience experiences whilst maximising commercial performance.

This is a strategic leadership position with significant influence across the business and the opportunity to shape the future of a growing Programming function.

The Opportunity

As Director of Programming, you will:

• Lead the programming strategy across a portfolio of UK venues

• Develop a commercially successful and diverse programme of live entertainment

• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with promoters, agents, managers and industry partners

• Identify opportunities to optimise venue performance, maximise occupancy and increase revenue

• Influence long-term venue strategy and portfolio growth

• Support the launch and programming of new venues as they come online

• Lead, develop and mentor a growing programming team

• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Operations and Commercial teams to maximise event success

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced programming professionals who can demonstrate:

• A proven track record of programming within live entertainment, venues, arenas, theatres, festivals or related sectors

• Experience operating across multiple venues or complex entertainment environments

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate profitable, high-value deals

• An established network of industry relationships across promoters, agents and management companies

• Strategic leadership experience and the ability to influence senior stakeholders

• A passion for live entertainment and delivering world-class audience experiences

• Resilience, professionalism and excellent relationship management skills

• A willingness to travel across the UK to support venues and stakeholders
