We're looking for a new eCommerce Insights and Optimisation Lead to join our growing eComm team.  A pivotal role you will drive our eCommerce strategy forward across Hallmark and our marketplace channels through your blend of analytical prowess, technical expertise, commercial focus, and technical understanding of SEO performance. Our ‘go to’ for everything User Experience (UX), SEO, Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) strategy, data, insights and action aimed at delivering exceptional NPS/CSAT scores. 
 
Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Define and lead technical SEO initiatives, as agreed with the Head of eCom, to boost the visibility and search engine ranking of our website.
  • Play a lead role in continuously improving our online User Experience (UX) forward
  • Manage our CRO strategy, designing and executing A/B tests, as agreed with the Heads of eCom and Marketing, to optimize the user experience, increase conversion rates and drive sales across our platforms
  • Utilise our on-site survey tool to generate insight on Customer Satisfaction and Net Promoter Scores (CSAT/NPS). Also utilize such tools and the information at your disposal to improve areas such as basket abandonment rates etc.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of our eCommerce activities, using data to drive decisions and pinpoint areas for improvement
  • Act as the primary liaison, collaborating effectively with key stakeholders connected to your CRO, SEO, UX and CSAT/NPS including executive management, Merchandising, Marketing, Development and IT, including all reporting requirements
  • Our technical expert investing in your ongoing awareness and understanding of eCommerce trends, digital marketing developments and what eCommerce best practice looks like
  • Utilize eCommerce analytics tools to track and report on key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
 
As a new member of our team, we're looking for a confident technical expert who can contribute to the continued growth of our eComm business. To be successful you will need:
  • Previous experience on working in a similar role for an ecommerce business, ideally FMCG
  • A deep understanding of what it takes to provide a first class online user and customer experience. 
  • A strong track record of making credible recommendations, cross functionally, which are successfully implemented and produce positive improvements proportionate to the delivery investment 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience of partnering with multiple teams to deliver common goals, initiatives and/or strategic change
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
  • To be abreast of digital marketing technologies and eCommerce trends and best practice, with a an understanding of practical application, improvement and challenges to delivery
  • Evidence of your commitment to acting with pace and tenacity in overcoming challenges and adjusting plans to keep projects on track to deliver strategically aligned project and operational change
  • To excel with all aspects data, insights and analytical knowledge and skills with experience of flexing your communication style to influence different audiences
  • To be a strategic thinker with a strong and tangible background in CRO, A/B testing, technical SEO, using heat-mapping tools and improving NPS/CSAT. 
  • Project management experience, would be a significant advantage
  • Previous experience of working with Shopify, would be a significant advantage
