Location: Edinburgh, Peterborough or Witham (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)
Salary: A competitive salary from £82,800 - £124,200 depending on the experience you can bring

An opportunity has arisen for an Enterprise Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. In this role you will play a key role in guiding Aegon UK through large programmes of change , utilising strategic planning initiative to manage the transformation needed to achieve business goals.
You will offer actionable insights and recommendations to Business and Technology leaders, enabling them to adapt to meet specific business objectives and leverage market disruptions effectively.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Establish and maintain the AUK architecture strategy, setting the vision, drivers, and goals that shape the target architecture.
Act as a senior leader to represent architecture at the highest levels within the UK, Aegon Group, and externally as needed.
Provide guidance and leadership to other architects.
Lead strategic relationships with key architecture stakeholders.
Ensure appropriate architectural governance is in place within AUK.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Strong leadership skills and experience managing others in the delivery of: Business Cases, Impact Assessments and Architectural Definitions
Relationship Management skills, managing senior stakeholders up to and including Executive level - to build relationships that ensure confidence in the technical delivery capabilities
A Proven track record of architecting, building and administering complex architectures and technologies
Demonstrable experience in the application of architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, , IT strategies, innovation, and cloud concepts and methodologies
Familiarity with AWS services and architecture best practice
Broad and working knowledge of IT applications, with specific knowledge of how cloud architecture relates to other areas of IT and how it impacts on other business functions.
