Job Description

With customers all over the globe our Export Coordinators ensure our product is delivered to them when they need it. Navigating the export process you’ll ensure our customers receive the highest standards of customer care they expect from Hallmark. With an increase in work and a changing team, we’re looking for a new Export Coordinator to join the team for 6 months.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Customer service - managing the central email box you’ll process orders, investigate and resolve delivery queries
  • Export process support including creating packing lists and processing information at the right times, across multiple stakeholders, so deliveries travel smoothly across the globe
  • Systems and process management including internal and external freight, export and supply chain process support
  • Reports, updates, delivery tracking and general team administration

Whilst experience of the export knowledge or experience would be helpful, we are confident, as seasoned navigators of this process that we can teach you the ropes.

To be successful we’re looking for you to have:

  • Excellent customer service skills with previous experience of working in a customer facing role
  • Experience of using email and your excellent command of the English language to communicate clearly with customers from different cultures where English is not their first language, would be a significant advantage
  • Experience of processing orders and investigating deliveries would be a significant advantage
  • Confidence with Excel and Outlook, ideally intermediate level, with previous experience of using these tools to make process more efficient, share information or keep deliveries on track
  • A pro-active, organised team player, who takes pride in the accuracy of their work, always looking for ways to make improvements for the team and the customer
  • An inquisitive and resourceful mind-set, you get to know processes, systems and people so you have the information you need at hand to find solutions to problems to predict/plan for any issues that may negatively impact your customer
  • Excellent attention to detail, committed to following the rules but comfortable getting back on track when things are not going to plan

Based at our Dawson Lane site in Bradford, close to key motorway links and on a main Bradford bus route you’ll be able to take advantage of:

  • 20 - 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • We are open to part time and flexible working, with customers in different time zones we are open to finding ways to accommodate non-traditional working hours if you’re flexible too
