As Family Support Worker with our client you will provide support to families visiting loved ones in the Visitor Centre. Visitor centre services include play and children’s services; and a catering service.
To be successful in this role you will have experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding work load. You will have the ability to contribute to planning and development of our client’s family work and also have knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice. Furthermore you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in build partnerships with a range of agencies.

Location: HMP Woodhill, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £18,525 FTE per annum ( £7,410 per annum actual pro rota )
Contract Type: 15 Hours per week with regular evening and / or weekend working
