Head of Creative

As our Head of Creative you’ll own and develop the creative direction and product proposition for the Hallmark brand across multiple channels. Blending your strong aesthetic and insights driven decision making, you’ll set the standard for how the brand shows up in our product offering and lead a team of talented, multi skilled Hallmarkers to create best in class, creative product that helps our customers live a caring connected life, full of meaningful moments.

Head of Creative Responsibilities:

(Including, but not limited to)

• Define and deliver the Creative vision for Hallmark brand, owning the look and feel from ideation to execution and delivery across multiple channels, in-store and online, including brokerage
• Own, define and deliver through others the creative, product, consumer experience and visual merchandising strategies
• Develop a creative led, product proposition, with a particular emphasis on products for digital platforms
• Partner with Head of Commercial, jointly owning the business plan for the Hallmark brand
• Ensure our brand values and creative expectations are met, aligning to our global standards
• Delivering exceptional results through your multi-skilled team, maximising their talents and ensure your team has the right information at the right time to make right first-time decisions

Head of Creative Requirements:

A creative first, you’ve experience of delivering head turning design for consumers across multiple channels and a clear vision of how you can continually elevate Hallmark’s brand. Agile and no stranger to re-invention, we’re also looking for our new Head of Creative to demonstrate:

• Solid creative leadership experience within a creative led, fast moving consumer goods business
• Clear creative vision, strong aesthetic judgement with a natural ability to bring to life your creative vision with varying audiences, including a differentiation between traditional retail and digital platforms
• Educated to degree level or extensive experience within a creative discipline
• Knowledge of product development processes
• Experience of strategy creation, development and delivery, ideally through a matrix managed team
• Experience of creative and/or product pitching, with an effortless story telling ability bringing to life your vision, getting buy in and creating excitement for your plan
• Excellent relationship management skills, seen as a collaborative and inspiring leader of people, with a natural flair for influencing, negotiating and finding effective solutions
• Experience of nurturing, inspiring, development and performance management of a multi skilled team of creatives and product developers
• Commercial acumen and experience of delivering profitable products, on time and on budget
• You are flexible, resourceful, agile and resilient, whilst staying focused on objectives and targets
• Skilled at making insights driven decisions, data management and reporting for varying audiences
