Job Description

Overview:

  • Manpower Has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual with extensive credit management experience to Head up the Credit Control function and support the growth for well-known Builders Merchant overseeing its customer base served by its current two branches
  • The role is an important element of My Clients growth strategy in both developing our credit management function and being a part of the client's sales process, helping to grow both our existing customer base and new customers identified
  • Working directly for the Head of Finance, you will be a key member of the Finance team and directly influence the direction and success of the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Management and development of the Credit Management process
    • New account application process and set up on ERP including PGs
    • Credit Limit increases and process for both insured and commercial decisions
    • Cash collection process and dealing with customer queries interacting the branch staff
    • Debt collection process including management of third parties and insolvencies and repayment plans
    • Customer refund process
  • Management of the Credit Insurance relationship
    • Develop relationship with insurers and underwriters
    • Management of Credit insurers portal and policy renewal
  • MI Reporting
    • Development of KPIs and implementation of targets, monitoring and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

  • A creative, ambitious, customer focused credit management professional with builder's merchants experience
  • Experience in developing credit management functions with successful cash collection record
  • A Self-starter who is independent, hands on, organised and whose decision making is data driven
    • Good interpersonal, communication and sales skills with colleagues and customers face to face and on the telephone and using a CRM
