This role will join the organisation in a period of continued and sustained growth and transformation. They will be accountable for strategic design, improving and developing the corporation tax compliance and reporting function for the Group working alongside the current part-time Group Tax manager

To optimise the Group tax position from a domestic and international perspective and ensure compliance with all corporate filing deadlines as it continues to expand into Europe and beyond.

The individual would be responsible for:

  • Developing the Group tax planning strategy incorporating the existing domestic/international structure as well as future planning for the Group
  • Liaise with HMRC in meetings and correspondence, negotiating and answering queries.
  • Involvement in the due diligence process for new acquisitions
  • Develop and deliver a suitably flexible transfer pricing policy for the group
  • Provision of training and guidance to staff at various levels Managing Tax compliance for the Group including preparation of UK tax computations and overseeing tax compliance for overseas entities
  • Preparation of year-end tax disclosures under UK GAAP and IFRS including statutory accounts disclosures and liaison with external auditors
  • Calculate and manage instalment payments for UK and overseas companies.
