The Role
Bloor Research Group is undergoing a transformative relaunch, and we are seeking an experienced Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy Specialist to develop a comprehensive market-ready product/service strategy. This critical role will ensure that our value propositions for both vendors and end users are translated into actionable, competitive, and profitable offerings with a clear path to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis & Competitive Landscape:
· Conduct detailed competitor benchmarking and market analysis.
· Identify market opportunities, threats, and gaps in the competitive landscape.
Product/Service Definition & Specification:
· Develop a comprehensive product/service specification from our detailed value propositions
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define unique selling points (USPs), features, and benefits.
Buyer Personas & Use Cases:
· Define detailed buyer personas, including decision-making drivers and challenges.
· Develop and document compelling use cases to demonstrate value for vendors and end users.
Pricing & Margin Strategy:
· Establish pricing models, including detailed margin analysis and competitor price benchmarking.
· Test and validate pricing strategies to maximise profitability and market penetration.
Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy:
Create a robust GTM strategy, including sales enablement materials, distribution channels, collaborate with marketing team on plans and KPIs.
Internal & External Stakeholder Engagement:
· Work with marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment across all functions.
· Present findings, strategies, and recommendations to the executive team and board.
Key Deliverables:
· Detailed GTM strategy document with implementation plans.
· Competitor landscape and market analysis report.
· Comprehensive product/service specifications.
· Buyer personas, use cases, and messaging frameworks.
· Pricing and margin model.
Experience & Qualifications:
· Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive GTM strategies, ideally for both product and service offerings.
· Strong background in market research, competitive analysis, and pricing strategy.
· Expertise in defining buyer personas and creating use cases.
· Demonstrated ability to translate high-level value propositions into detailed, market-ready products/services.
· Strong commercial acumen with experience in margin modelling and profitability analysis.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Preferred Background:
· Experience in B2B technology, research, or professional services sectors.
· Familiarity with senior functional leaders (e.g., HR, Finance, Marketing) as the target audience.
