Job Description


Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The business technology global service team is looking to hire a summer intern out of our Milford, MA or Wilmslow, UK office. This is a hybrid opportunity. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring through summer 2024.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work in one of many areas to include, but not limited to, Digital Innovation, Information Security, Development, User Experience, SAP and Operations Support and Extended Reality (XR).


Responsibilities may include:

  • Global Laptop Refresh for 2024. Deploying Laptops to our End users and ensuring they have successfully migrated to the new laptop. 
  • Arranging the collection of old assets ready for disposal.
  • Fulfilling user requests for software installs. 
  • Updating Service tickets to ensure the customer and team is kept up to date with any progress.

Qualifications specific to this role:

  • Ideally rising junior or senior undergraduate student with a background in information technology service delivery
  • IT Desktop Support experience is preferred, knowledge of Office 365, Windows 10 & 11 operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and writingskills along with strong organization and attention to detail. 
  • An analytical mindset
