Location: Edinburgh, Peterborough or Witham (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)
Salary: A competitive salary from £75,200 - £112,800 depending on the experience you can bring

An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Solutions Architect to join our team on a permanent basis. As Lead Solutions Architect you will be accountable for leading and managing a team of solution architects across our portfolio of change and represent the organisation as a whole for technical solutions. You will play a lead role in the Technical Design Authority that ensures that all design decisions have sufficient scrutiny to ensure robust challenge, fitting with our strategic direction.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Providing thought leadership through the analysis of complex business functional changes
Line Management of a team of Solution Architects.
Providing specialist technical definition to deliver complex business functional changes
Supporting project resources for the production of a Architecture Definition with recommended solutions.
Leading on strategic relationships with key business stakeholders
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience in leading and managing a team of line reports or have demonstrated this skillset through coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
Significant experience of designing business processes and applications
Familiarity with AWS services and architecture best practice
A proven track record of providing expert specialist technical advice and consultancy to a variety of business stakeholders and other areas of IT.
Strong relationship management skills- ability to manage senior stakeholders up to and including Executive level - to build relationships that engender confidence in the technical delivery capabilities
Decision making and Business influencing skills - ability to support vendor and service provider management, including negotiations, contract terms and conditions, competitive bidding processes.
